different on the outside, same quality on the inside. after 4 years in the making, our SAVOR collection is finally here and we’re having fun with it.

inspired by: meetings that inevitably turned to conversations about food; unforgettable dining experiences; snacks that turned into meals; a longing for foods from different places; a mutual understanding of the meaning of comfort food; travel lists that were exclusively eateries; a shared love for the challenge of making an epic meal from whatever’s left in the fridge; the first smells that hit you when you walk into your favorite (insert: bakery, restaurant, auntie’s kitchen, etc).

but first, can we talk about the glassware?

breaking from our standard clear glass and white label, we sought to keep things minimal but add some personality. handblown from recycled glass in the state of Jalisco, Mexico, this glassware is made from a family-owned business that employs artisans using traditional glassblowing techniques that have been around for centuries. we made the conscious decision to use a glass for our candles that you would want to use over and over again, long after the last flame burns out.

you’ll notice there’s no label, and that’s on purpose. a statement object on its own, we felt the glassware spoke for itself (as does the fragrance inside it). our hope is that this object feels like a collectors item that belongs in your space, wherever you put it.

plus, there is something about handblown glass that feels irresistible in your palm.

Before you eat, you must whet your appetite! An aperetif is the drink served before your meal - your wine, your margarita, your spritz. It is the official start to your dining experience, the mood-setter, the vibe check.

Who can resist a cold effervescent citrus cocktail on a hot day? We sure can’t, so we created a fragrance to inspire that moment of clocking out, calling your bestie, and hitting a sunny patio to imbibe and start the weekend early.

Your Main

The drinks are working - your tastebuds anticipate their savory complement. The main dish is what you came here for, what you’ve been craving all day. It’s what fills you up and makes the next table second-guess what they ordered.

There’s something special about a main dish that hides its complexity in a simple form. We sought to capture the depth of aromas that fill your space when a pot is left to simmer, the evolving fragrant profile that leaves your guests drooling as they await their moment to taste what you’ve created.

Your Dessert

No meal is complete without a sweet dish to tie it all together. Dessert does not have to be indulgent, but it’s a bit more fun when you can use it as an excuse to treat yourself - which you should do, every time.

The best part about dessert is you can’t go wrong - it doesn’t have to complement your meal, it can be it’s own thing and still be the right choice. For us, dessert looks and feels sweet, but has a savory flavor note that dangerously checks all the boxes.

candles for a cause.

you can’t talk about food without acknowledging the many problems that plague the food landscape. fraught with inequities, injustices, misinformation, corruption and propaganda, we need to do better by our food systems, education, and workforce. that’s why we’re donating a percentage of sales of the SAVOR collection to a community-based food security initiative.

our first nonprofit partner is Keep Growing Detroit who is on a mission to promote a food sovereign city where the majority of fruits and vegetables consumed by Detroiters are grown by residents within the city’s limits. learn more about their mission and programs and how to get involved by visiting their website at www.detroitagriculture.net.
